About the Role
You'll produce engaging, insightful content about writing craft, the publishing industry, and the literary life. You'll also edit contributor articles, manage our editorial calendar, and help establish Ink Speaks as a trusted resource for writers everywhere.
Responsibilities
- Write 3-4 original blog articles per week
- Edit and polish contributor submissions
- Manage the editorial content calendar
- Conduct author interviews and community spotlights
- Optimize content for search and discoverability
- Collaborate with social media on content distribution
- Develop email newsletter content
Requirements
- 3+ years of content writing or journalism experience
- Strong knowledge of writing craft and the publishing industry
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with SEO and content management systems
- Ability to write in various tones and formats
- Portfolio of published writing samples
- Degree in English, Journalism, or Creative Writing preferred
